Art in the Forest

Wherever you go in Sauze d’Oulx you’ll see sculptures, whether in town or on some of the trails. These sculptures are part of a Alpine heritage of working with wood using local timber and the skills of artists from Sauze and around the world.

Art in the Forest was an international project in Sauze d’Oulx attended by artists from around the world that produced 64 wooden sculptures throughout the area for the enjoyment of locals and visitors. The project was under the artistic supervision of Jouvenceaux-based international sculptor Maurizio Perron.
