Off Road

In the High Susa & Chison Valleys

Sauze d’Oulx is an Alpi Motor Resort. Off-roading in our stunning mountains can take you to some spectacular vantage points  by taking a series of old military roads which wind through valleys, plateaus, villages and Alpine pastures. The Strada dell’Assietta, Monte Seguret, Argentera and Thures valleys – just some of the places that you can enjoy and explore off-road.

Some of the Routes

Oulx – Assietta
50km of paved roads, 141km of dirt roads: 191km in total/ Journey time: 9 hours.

Monti della Luna – Colle della Scala
60km of paved roads, 140km of dirt road: 200km in total/ Journey time 8.5 hours.

Jafferau – Sommeiller
45km of paved roads, 165km of dirt road: 210km in total/ Journey time 9 hours.

Val Chisone – Colle della Vaccera
152km of paved roads, 61km of dirt road: 213km in total/ Journey time 6 hours.

The pamphlet detailing off-road rides along with a map of the roads, Alpi Motor Resort, can be obtained directly from Sauze Tourist Information Centre.

Please note: seasonal restrictions are usually in place on certain roads. Check with Sauze’s Tourist Information Centre for updates.
