Should you want to explore a little further and see what the area has to offer, there are a number of day trips along this beautiful ancient valley stretching out amongst the northern Italian Alps. These include:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sauzedoulx.net\/en\/summer\/gran-bosco-natural-park\/\">Gran Bosco National Park<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Gran Bosco is on Sauze&#8217;s doorstep and offers a great day (or days!) out exploring the paths and trails, maybe seeing some of the wildlife and stunning Alpine flowers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sauzedoulx.net\/en\/places-to-visit\/forts-history\/\">Forts and History<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Upper Susa Valley has many fortifications from many battles this page gives you a guide on some of those places.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sauzedoulx.net\/en\/places-to-visit\/susa\/\">Susa<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">With Roman remains including the Arch of Augustus, Susa is worth seeing and an easy trip from Sauze.
