Non Skiers

People who don’t wish to ski or snowboard have a choice of many things to do in Sauze d’Oulx and area:

  1. SPA DAY
Spend your day getting pampered in one of Sauze’s spas.
  2. GO WINTER WALKING
Experience the beauty of the Gran Bosco National Park in winter by taking a winter walk to Monfol – or further! Winter Walks
  3. SIGHTSEEING BY HELICOPTER
Sightseeing trips are available all winter by helicopter. Off Piste and helicopter sightseeing trips
  4. CAFES, RESTAURANTS & SHOPPING IN SAUZE D’OULX
Sauze has a variety of gift shops so that you can take something special from Italy back to your friends and family. Take a break in one of Sauze’s many cafes for a cappuccino or genuine Italian hot chocolate followed by a delicious lunch in one of the bars or restaurants.
  5. LUNCH AT SPORTINIA OR ON CLOTES
An easy chairlift ride to the Sportinia main ski station or Clotes piste with a choice of places to have lunch. You can watch the skiers and snowboarders while you eat! You can go up and down on the ski lifts by foot from Sauze and Jouvenceaux. Tickets can be bought on the day at the ski office (at the bottom of the lifts). Ask for a “walkers” or “non sciatore” pass at the lift office.
  6. VISIT TURIN BY TRAIN
A little over a hour from Turin, you’re well placed to view the sights, sounds, cafes, museums and shops that Turin can offer. A day might not be enough though! Places to Visit
